On June 12-13, 2024 AZEC GROUP joined the Caucasus and Central Asia Construction Forum designed to facilitate dynamic discussions and collaborations within the construction industry.
Overall, 9 panel discussions were organized to cover the following key topics:

- Role of International Financial Institutions in dealing with Construction Projects
- Project Management
- Negotiating and Drafting FIDIC-based Contracts
- Construction Projects
- Claims Management in Construction and Infrastructure Projects
- Dispute Resolution in Construction and Infrastructure Projects
- Role of Institutions in Dealing with Construction and Infrastructure Disputes
- Industry Associations, Certification Programs and Education
The Forum brought together industry leaders, government officials, IFIs representatives, engineers, legal experts, and professionals from across the Caucasus and Central Asia region for two days of invaluable insights and networking, and served as a dynamic hub for exchanging invaluable insights, fostering innovation, and forging impactful collaborations. The speakers and participants exchanged valuable experience relating to major infrastructure and construction projects, project management best practices, drafting FIDIC-based contracts, claims management, dispute resolution strategies, and advancements in associations, certification, and education within the construction sector.
AZEC GROUP had a special honor to meet FIDIC Board Members Mr. Manish Kothari and Mr. Prashant Kapila, including the General Counsel on Legal and Contracts Ms. Daduna Kokhreidze, the founders of ACEG and Azerbaijan Arbitration Association in France, regional representatives of the IRD Engineering s.r.l. of Italy, Temelsu International Engineering Services Inc. of Turkiye, Tahan-Cem Attorney of Turkiye, ICM Consulting of Turkiye, as well as many other experienced and professional lawyers, engineers and government officials during the Forum.
The Group is proud to establish cooperation with the Forum organizers and other organizations and happy to announce the plans and ongoing procedures for establishing the Association of the Consulting Engineers of Azerbaijan (ACEA), which was also encouraged to receive due support in obtaining the FIDIC membership in the nearest future.
